Just a heads up that the call for presentations for APUC (Esri’s Asia Pacific User Conference) is now open! And the good news is that the deadline for submissions has been extended until the 19th of November!
APUC, which runs from 26 – 27 January 2011 in Manila, Phillipes (as you can see from the lovely illustration above), is a really great event to be involved in and is an excellent resource for anyone who works in GIS in Australia or the Asia Pacific.
One reason to get involved? Mr Jack Dangermond, Esri’s Founder and President, will be imparting his pearls of wisdom on the future of GIS and Esri. He’s a really engaging, inspiring speaker, and a world leader in the field of GIS, so this will be a big drawcard for many. It’s also a great opportunity to hear from your peers and Esri staff about how to use GIS to address challenges across industries.
