Ozri 2011 Has Left the Building

Ozri has wrapped up for another year.  Thank you to all of the attendees, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors and staff who made the event such a success this year.

More than 550 delegates joined us for our 25th Ozri conference, and most declared it the best yet!

A few highlights of the conference…

  • Our keynote speakers Major Dick Wilson, the Chair of the Queensland Reconstruction Authority and futurist Dr Sohail Inayatullah enthralled the crowd with their presentations
  • The panel sessions were a great addition to Ozri 2011, with some great discussions on the hot topics of the power of data, Australia’s spatial industry and GIS system integration
  • Almost every GIS topic imaginable was covered in the program, from the latest technical updates and demonstrations, case studies from across the country, to presentations focusing on how to make the most of your investment in GIS
  • The GeoTheatre was packed out by those wanting to find out the latest GIS technology how-to’s
  • A great range of products and solutions were on show in the exhibition area
  • The social functions were a hit as always, with the Gala Dinner setting a new benchmark for future Ozri functions!

And Ozri 2012?  We’ll be seeing you in Sydney next year for Ozri 2012 A Spatial Odyssey – new frontiers in GIS.

    Hi Claire,

Are we going to be able to get hold of the slide presentations? I’d love to share some of them around my office.

      Hi Kristin,

We’re working on placing all the Ozri presentations onto our website this week. Look out for a blog post soon with details on how to access the presentations.
