The 2012 Esri International User Conference officially kicks off tomorrow with a keynote address at 8:30AM by Esri President and Founder, Jack Dangermond.
Jack will be sharing his vision for ArcGIS, and with so many new developments in our product line up and solutions, our clients and partners should expect great things.
The Esri Australia team has been hard at work attending pre conference meetings, summits and workshops and our good news is that there has never been a better time to be part of the Esri family than now. This applies to our existing clients and new clients that we hope to introduce to our solutions.
One key message that’s really resonating is the notion of “Geography as a Platform” – start thinking of maps and location intelligence as being as integral to your business as email and you start to understand the vision of ArcGIS and how it might apply to any organisation and so many different work areas. With new products like Esri Maps for Office (available with an ArcGIS Online subscription), bringing the power of location to all users is now a reality.
Hopefully all will be revealed after tomorrow and in the days to come. For full coverage of the 2012 UC, keep an eye on the Esri Australia blog, or visit http://www.esri.com/events/user-conference/index.html.
