Esri Australia’s ‘Tour de Force’ – Directions 2014 – is hitting the road again this March/April and is coming to city near you! This year, the focus of the conference is to help you ‘sharpen your GIS skills’.
Through a range of presentations by technical specialists, Directions 2014 will show you how to get more out of your Esri software investment, and give you practical tips on how to streamline your GIS workflows.
Some of the key topics to look out for include:
- Automating your workflows with model builder;
- Working with real-time and 3D data;
- Performing advanced analysis using ArcMap;
- Downloading, configuring and deploying Esri’s configurable applications and templates; and,
- Configuring your operations dashboard and Collector for ArcGIS.
On top of this, you will have the opportunity to hear about the successful application of GIS in local organisations, and get personal assistance from members of the Esri Australia support team.
At selected cities, we also have guest appearances from: our resident imagery guru, Hosted Services team, National Training Manager, and Dekho specialists (who will be showcasing the soon-to-be-launched Dekho 4.1 release!).

Directions is a great opportunity to develop your GIS skills and network with other spatial professionals. I’ll be travelling with the roadshow – and am looking forward to catching up when Directions stops in your town…
