Ozri 2015 GIS Generations

Ozri 2015 is underway in Melbourne!

The countdown is finally over for Ozri 2015 as the conference kicked-off last night at the lively welcome function.

A chance for the GIS community to catch-up with old friends as well as meet new geospatial professionals – conference delegates, special guests and Esri Australia staff enjoyed a casual drink, delicious food and a sneak peak of the new innovation zone.

Among the chatter, there was lots of talk of what was in store during the next two action-packed days of presentations, workshops and forums. With the largest contingent of US presenters, together with local GIS users, we know that it will be an unforgettable conference.

There was also plenty of excitement for the conference gala dinner, particularly, the performance by Australian rock legend and Daddy Cool frontman, Ross Wilson and X Factor singing drummer Jason Heerah.  All this while overlooking the Melbourne city skyline – what more could you want!

Before we get there, all eyes will be on today’s plenary, and the line-up of Australian and international presenters who will officially kick-off Ozri 2015.
